‘Tehran: City of Love’ wins Sofia film festival award

Directed by Ali Jaberansari the film ‘Tehran: City of Love’ has garnered the Young Jury Award of the 23rd edition of Sofia International Film Festival.

The film is the story of three lonely people who are in search of warmth and connection in the megacity of Tehran.

Forough Ghajabagli, Mehdi Saki, Amir Hessam Bakhtiari and Behnaz Jafari are appearing in the movie ‘Tehran: City of Love’.

Sofia festival, according to the website, is the biggest film festival in Bulgaria. The festival strives to make a connection between the local audience and the international cinemas.

The 23rd edition of the festival is slated for March 7-28, 2019, in Sofia, Bulgaria.
